Laura Kilbury is a research associate for National Security and International Policy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Kilbury was a graduate school intern with Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere, focusing on civilian-military policy in humanitarian situations. She previously worked at Winrock International, the United Nations Foundation, and the Clinton Global Initiative. Kilbury earned a master’s degree in public policy from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University.
