Chayla Duppins is the graphic designer for the Digital Advocacy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, she worked as an office and social media assistant for the Office of the President at Bowie State University. Duppins also interned as a graphic designer for Bowie State University’s football team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in visual communication and digital media arts from Bowie State University.

In her free time, Duppins loves to bake red velvet cheesecake cupcakes and pineapple upside-down cake. She also enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
