Mayor Pete brings viewers inside U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg’s campaign to be the youngest U.S. president, providing an unprecedented intimacy with the candidate, his husband Chasten, and their ambitious team. This film reveals what really goes on inside a campaign for the highest office in the land and ways it changes the lives of those at its center.

Our panel will focus on the historic nature of Secretary Buttigieg’s candidacy, the pressures LGBTQI+ people feel while running for office, and his candidacy’s potential as a change agent for future candidates.
